Tomorrow night is meeting night and Dan King's back with Part 2 of his  
Intro To Pen Testing series. This installment is on portscanning.

"Scanning thousands of ports on hundreds of hosts take a long time and  
generates a ton of unnessecary network traffic. If you are trying to  
pwn a network or doing internet research this task can either make or  
break your goal. This talk hopes to give some insight into how  
portscanning works and ways to make the task simplier and easier to  
manage."

Hey Folks:

AS220 is fund-raising the initial $50K it needs to get all the cool 
hardware[1] for the FabLab[2]. There was a fund raiser last Wednesday 
night, at which $23K was raised. Even though the space at the Mercantile 
Block won't be ready for at least 18 months, this gear will get 
installed in a room on the 2nd floor of the Empire St location, next to 
the current AS220 labs space.

Please give as generously as possible. AS220 is a non-profit 
organization, so your contributions are tax-deductible.
