Todd, Che:

I feel your pain. Hell, I work in Quahog and sometimes it's hard to get
to the meeting on time due to work needing my presence for stuff.

In the short term, we're kind of stuck with the time frame we've got, as
the time slot we have (First weds from 1730-1900) for the performance
space at AS220 was one of the last regular time slots available in their
calendar. Remember, the meetings 'start' at 1730, but the talks don't
actually begin until 1800. Take that into account when you're planning
your travel to the meeting.

In the long term, when the new Mercantile block building opens next year
(currently slated for 3Q2010) and the AS220 Fab Lab moves over there,
there will be enough space to hold the meetings in that space and more
importantly, we'll be able to extend the start and end times to allow
for later arrivals and more hanging out afterwards.

For now, I ask for patience and sneaky early departures from work once a
month. It'll get better next year.

While we're on the topic of AS220... They're holding their end of year
fund-raiser to balance the budget for 2009. Grab yourself a
tax-deductible charitable donation before the end of the year and help
support the folks who host us every month. http://as220.org/front/
