The years of experience must demonstrate skills at a technical/professional level, and managing internal and external Stakeholder relations. The Specialist will have a solid understanding of electric transmission control systems and extensive expertise in Network Security. The Specialist role will also require a demonstrated ability to maintain strict adherence to procedures and policies designed to maintain reliability and safety in critical systems. The candidate who fulfills the Specialist role must have or be willing to gain a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of CIP reliability standards. S/he also must be able to adapt to frequent changes to technology and requirements in a fast-paced, learning organization environment.
