Embedded devices come in many forms, and offer unique opportunities for attackers to do damage. This talk will focus primarily on common network devices such as routers and wireless access points and how they can be used to gain access to your target and preventative measures. We will stroll down memory lane and review some of the vulnerabilities that have been released for embedded devices, and how we can them to gain control of the device, the network, and more importantly the data traveling across it.

As I announced at the October meeting, we can't really use the official DefCon crossbones logo as part of our logo. Thus, we need a logo of our own. Get our your markers and your pencils (or more likely, your gimp, photoshop or illustrator) and get to work.
The Rules:
* Entries should be vector artwork so they scale nicely for a variety of uses (online, print and clothing).
* Work must be 100% original. We can't afford an infringement lawsuit.
* The winning entry will become the property of DC401
* Entries must be received by 31 Dec 2007.
* Voting for the winning entry will be done at the January meeting.
The Prize
Not set in stone yet, but I was thinking a $50 gift certificate to ThinkGeek might be cool.
