announcements: October 2008 Archives

Dan's back in November with Part 2 of his Intro To Pen Testing series. This installment is on portscanning.

Scanning thousands of ports on hundreds of hosts take a long time and generates a ton of unnessecary network traffic. If you are trying to pwn a network or doing internet research this task can either make or break your goal. This talk hopes to give some insight into how portscanning works and ways to make the task simplier and easier to manage.
